Colorado Intimate Wedding / Crested Butte

There is something magical about the small mountain towns of Colorado. Crested Butte has always been captivating no matter the season, but I have to admit - I love my mountain towns when they’re not fully dedicated to the ski season. This was the first time I had the pleasure of visiting CB in the summer aka wildflower season. Kendall & John just happened to set a wedding date a few days before the town’s annual wildflower festival so obviously - right place, right time.

They invited only their immediate family members (including Mango the golden retriever) and rented a beautiful AirBnB just outside of town. The best part about an intimate wedding day is being able to make the schedule as you go - so we opted to take a short drive and go on a little hike amongst the flowers for a private vow exchange and portraits. I’m pretty sure I said, “oh wow, this is amazing” more times than they cared to hear.

But the sugar on top? My sister joined as my 2nd shooter, armed with only her 35mm film camera. Having some film photos to add into their gallery made me realize - let’s do this more!! So I’ve recently added an option to my wedding packages to include Hannah as a film 2nd and really hope to have her images in future galleries!
