Rocky Mountain Intimate Wedding / Loveland Pass First Look / Colorado Wedding Photographer
Margot and Joe were my dream come true and I have Instagram to thank for our obviously destined meetup. Last November, I met them in person for the first time the day before Thanksgiving when they were visiting from Arkansas. Since that day, I have been counting down until their Rocky Mountain intimate wedding. They planned their entire destination wedding from Arkansas with only two short trips to Colorado to finalize details. When Margot first messaged me last fall, she had the plan for an intimate wedding at an AirBnB outside of Vail, Colorado. I immediately knew we were meant to be from the get go. But after we started talking details, we came up with the GENIUS idea to do a first look adventure session a few days before their wedding so they could get some big mountain top views and spend some quality time together, just the two of them (and me), before the hustle and bustle of wedding day.
I am so excited to share these photos from their first look and adventure session on top of Loveland Pass, one of my favorite Colorado overlooks! We were greeted with a brief drizzle and moody skies that Tuesday evening and although I was in panic mode and in high alert for the slightest sign of lightening and thunderstorms, we didn't have a single issue (shocking for a Colorado summer's eve) and instead, we experienced the most amazing sunset.
Stay tuned for more on Margot & Joe - the grand finale was just as amazing when they hosted their nearest and dearest for an intimate wedding the following Saturday!
