Adventure and Travel / San Jose del Cabo

A couple of weeks ago, two of my favorite humans said 'I do' in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. What a beautiful place for some extraordinarily beautiful people.

I unfortunately spent less than 48 hours in that desert by the sea, but every moment was filled with love and I felt honored to be able to witness it all. A big congratulations to Sarah & Jeff!

If you haven't made it to Los Cabos, add it to the list - I would recommend avoiding the spring break season though! The wedding took place in Cabo San Lucas, or "Cabo," which is the southern most point of the Baja California Peninsula. But about 40 minutes north of Cabo is San Jose del Cabo, and based on my experience I'd say it's the hidden gem of Los Cabos. Less tourists and fewer resorts, San Jose felt authentic but approachable.

So - I had one day to enjoy the area before the wedding and had the opportunity to travel up the coast with friends to San Jose del Cabo. The drive is WORTH IT. Although we didn't have a lot of time to explore the downtown area, we set our sights on visiting Flora Farm - a luscious, organic farm in the middle of the deserts of Mexico. It seems to be an anomaly and I'm glad we were able to explore! All of the seasonal veggies they grow are offered to visitors in the farm to table restaurant and small market and the grounds are scattered with local boutiques, wine & coffee bars, and ice cream shops. Dreamy...am I right?
